Studies of the Prophet Muhammad’s da’wah have mostly taken historical, communicative, and methodological perspectives, leaving its dimension as a process of acquiring, processing, and transmitting knowledge largely unexamined philosophically. This article aims to analyze the epistemological structure of the Prophet Muhammad’s da’wah from the perspective of the philosophy of science, covering the sources of knowledge, the methods of acquiring and conveying it, and its criteria of validity. It employs a qualitative library research approach with philosophical-conceptual analysis of relevant Qur’anic verses, sīrah literature, and 23 selected journal articles published in 2021–2026. It uses three epistemological questions and the bayānī, burhānī, and ‘irfānī triad as its lens. The findings show that the Prophet’s da’wah epistemology consists of revelation as the primary source and standard of truth, reason as an instrument of understanding, social reality as the context of application, and exemplary conduct as a method of transmission that turns knowledge into action. Its validity is layered: the truth of revelation is normative, while its interpretation and methods of delivery remain open to evaluation. Contemporary da’wah, including digital da’wah, therefore needs to combine firmness of sources with flexibility of methods and a discipline of information verification
