Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between Islamic entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, access to Islamic financing, and entrepreneurial intention among students at Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKI), motivated by the need to integrate entrepreneurial competencies, Islamic values, and ecosystem support. Through a literature study using an integrative literature review and thematic synthesis of national and international literature from 2021–2026, the study identifies three themes: Islamic entrepreneurship education as capacity formation, self-efficacy as a psychological mechanism shaping intention, and access to Islamic financing as a contextual enabling condition. The synthesis indicates that experiential learning, mentoring, problem-solving, and the internalization of Islamic values have the potential to support self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention, while access to financing needs to be integrated with financial literacy, assistance, and institutional support. The study produces an integrative conceptual framework as a foundation for developing experiential-based curricula, business incubators, and partnerships between PTKI and the Islamic financial ecosystem, with empirical testing needed to confirm the relationships among constructs
